Frequently asked questions
Yes, we accept novellas as long as they serve as the introduction to a series. Standalone novellas are not accepted at this time, but may be considered in the future.
We accept both completed manuscripts and works in progress, as long as a substantial portion of the book has been written. Submissions with only a single chapter are not accepted, as they don’t provide enough material to evaluate the overall story.
Yes, we accept previously self-published or published works.
Yes. You may submit multiple manuscripts; however, each standalone project must be submitted separately with its own submission materials.
If the manuscripts are part of the same series, whether complete or still in progress, please submit them together in a single query email rather than as separate submissions.
Right now, we are only accepting authors within the United States or Canada. All submissions must be in English. We do not accept works in other languages.
Review times vary depending on submission volume, but we generally aim to respond within 2–4 weeks. During periods of high volume, responses may take longer, though they can sometimes be sooner.
Yes, we accept series proposals, but your submission must include at least the first book written in full or a substantial portion to properly evaluate the series’ potential.
Currently, we do not accept illustrated books or graphic novels.
Yes, revised submissions are welcome. Please indicate clearly that this is a revised version when submitting.
No. All submissions must include the first chapter of the manuscript. While prologues can provide useful context, they do not always reflect the novel's overall structure, pacing, or narrative voice. For this reason, the first chapter is required when submitting.
Authors may include the prologue in addition to the first chapter if they wish.
We accept stories with varying levels of romance or intimacy, provided the content fits the genre. For Young Adult (YA), this generally means crushes, flirting, or minimal romance, and explicit content is not appropriate. Adult genres may include more explicit or spicy content if it supports the story and aligns with the genre.
